Bruce Dvorak FASLA, PLA is an associate professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning at Texas A&M University. In 2009, Bruce established the Interdisciplinary Green Roof Research Group at Texas A&M University, and in 2021 he established the Southern Plains Regional Academic Center of Excellence at Green Roofs for Healthy Cities. Bruce has published extensively on green roofs including his edited book Ecoregional Green Roofs: Theory and Application in the Western USA and Canada, which received an ASLA Honor Award in Research in 2021. Bruce writes the quarterly plants column for the Living Architecture Monitor.
