Dive into three alternative models of ownership and candidly explore the decision-making process, setbacks, and the psychological explorations that lead to founding and running mission-based firms. These practices include non-profits, B Corps, cooperatives, and perpetual purpose trusts.

Learning Outcomes:

Identify the importance of alternative modes of business structure and ownership as potential post-capitalist strategies.
Provide an example and motivate those who are considering starting a firm to explore other ownership/business model options.
Gain insight into the rewards and drawbacks of alternative ownership and entrepreneurship and an exit strategy that promotes leadership, wealth distribution and access to ownership for employees.
Understand the ways a practice built on passion and understanding can be a catalyst for social change.
