Andrew "Andy" Fox is a Professor, University Faculty Scholar, and Community Engaged Faculty Fellow at NC State University. He is also the Director and co-founder of the Coastal Dynamics Design Lab (CDDL), an interdisciplinary research and design initiative that addresses ecological and community development challenges in resource-limited communities. His teaching, scholarship, and engagement activities focus on people/water relationships, with expertise in high-performing public landscapes, resilient community design, natural infrastructure, and land and water conservation assessment. As a licensed landscape architect, the goal of Andy's work is tangible, actionable change in the public realm.
