Susan Wilkins has served as the Garden Curator of the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary for the past 19 years. Her work includes overseeing the care and development of the plant collections at the Garden, a historic 15-acre native plant botanic garden. Additionally, she oversees the Garden’s education programs, visitor services, volunteer programs, and community connections. Previous to her work with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board she worked in private practice as a garden designer. Her love of plants coupled with her dedication to supporting green spaces that nourish biophilia and nature-joy guide her work.
