Peter Hendee Brown, FAIA, FAICP, PHD, is an architect, planner, and development consultant. Since 2010 he has served the City of Minneapolis as advisor and owner’s representative for the planning, design, and construction of major public projects including Peavey Plaza and Nicollet Mall. He is Visiting Professor of Practice at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs, where he teaches Private Sector Development, Planning and Design for the Urban Public Realm, and Planning Capstone Workshop. Peter is also the author of two books, How Real Estate Developers Think, and America’s Waterfront Revival.
