Role: Interviewed 50 diverse and inclusive students from different universities in Landscape Architecture to find out how diverse students see the world (due to their experiences) and what attracts them to their future employers.
Melissa Dominguez is a graduate student in the college’s Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning program at North Carolina State University. Her story recalls her youth in Sinaloa, Mexico, her experiences facing anti-immigration legislation in Alabama, and her desire to create enriching landscapes available to everyone.
