Carol Zoff is a Principal Landscape Architect, Supervising the Environmental Planning and Design Unit within the Office of Environmental Stewardship at the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The Unit applies a context sensitive solutions approach to transportation corridor planning and design to help ensure project integration with the community and the environment. Core functions are:
• Landscape contract and Community Partnership design,
• Corridor design including Visual Impact Assessment, Visual Quality Management, Early Notification Memo comments and Negotiated Maintenance Contracts,
• Great River Road corridor management and Mississippi River Trail coordination,
• Certified Landscape Specialist training,
• Standard Specification and Details.
