Jessica Canfield, PLA, ASLA, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional & Community Planning at Kansas State University. She is a licensed landscape architect and practiced prior to teaching. Her teaching, research, and creative work primarily focus on landscape performance, storytelling, conceptual site design, materials, and placemaking. Canfield is a co‐author of "Evaluating Landscape Performance: A Guidebook for Metrics and Methods Selection" (LAF 2018). She holds a MLA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a BSLA from Colorado State University.
