Maci Nelson is a landscape designer, educator, and podcaster based in Cleveland, Ohio. She is dedicated to introducing diverse voices into the field of landscape architecture. Since 2020 she has hosted and produced The Landscape Nerd Podcast. Through this platform, she investigates the intersection of landscape architecture and pop culture to help the public find a connection to the landscape architecture profession. She uses social media as a part of her practice to demonstrate how storytelling communicates design intent and processes. Her multimedia practice has now become a globally streamed and viewed resource for thousands of students and young professionals.
