Kelly Curl is an Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture at Colorado State University. She has over twenty years of combined practice and teaching in landscape architecture. Her passion for the profession stems from site-specific documentation and analysis that frames and defines the cultural landscape. Curl is a fine artist who explores the landscape, local ecologies, and designed nature with significant craft in oil painting, drawing, and photography. After receiving her MLA from the University of Pennsylvania, she apprenticed at Peter Walker and Partners, Inc. for several years in Berkeley, California.
