Satoko is a Director of Process from Ten x Ten Studio, with experience in arts, community organizing, academic research, and landscape architecture. Committed to themes of collective memory, listening, resilience, and open-ended design processes, she managed projects like Mill 19, Historic Fort Snelling at Bdote, the 26th Avenue North Overlook, Rondo Commemorative Plaza, and the Philando Castile Memorial.

Before TenxTen, she co-founded an environmental design studio and helped strategize the social enterprise model of Juxtaposition Arts. She was also a research fellow at Metropolitan Design Center, working on the public realm and green infrastructure framework for the local neighborhoods.
