Transportation corridors can fragment wildlife habitat, leading to declining biodiversity in urban areas. By integrating well-designed wildlife crossings into urban parks, landscape architects can promote connectivity and restore species mobility. This session presents guidelines for successful wildlife crossing design and explores two recently constructed crossings within large urban park landscapes.
